AI Credits
Credits measure translation volume based on source characters.
How Credits Are Consumed
- 1 credit = 1 source character
- Each target language counts separately (translating to 5 languages = 5× credits)
- Credits are consumed when a translation job completes
- Failed or canceled jobs don't use credits
Credit Reset
Credits reset at the start of each billing cycle. Unused credits do not carry over.
What Happens at the Limit
| Limit | Behavior |
|---|---|
| AI Credits exceeded | New translations blocked until reset (unless using BYOK) |
| Projects exceeded | Cannot create new projects — archive or upgrade (Free plan only) |
| API Requests exceeded | API calls return 429 Too Many Requests |
| Hourly Jobs exceeded | Translation queue is paused for the hour |
