Data Retention
How long Babelize keeps your data: source code is deleted after processing, translations stay while the project exists, plus account data, logs and backups.
This document explains how long Babelize retains different types of data.

Translation Data
Source Code
Source code is cloned temporarily during translation:
- Exists only during processing
- Not permanently stored
- Deleted after translation completes
Translation Results
Generated translation files are retained while your project is active. They are deleted when you delete the project.
Account Data

Logs

Backups
- Automatic daily backups
- 30-day backup retention
- Encrypted at rest
- Geographic redundancy
Deletion
When data is deleted:
- Immediately — removed from active systems
- 24 hours — removed from caches
- 30 days — removed from backups
